I am so tired of hearing about primary assemblies from every other parent in town. I agree that the new assemblies are great, but is it really worth a week of conversations? Every time I run into a fellow parent of the school that is exactly what they bring up. I understand the concern for our children’s education, but some parents go completely overboard with their concerns and how they express them. There is a parent teacher meeting coming up next week and I am not sure I want to go. I am positive that the whole meeting will consist of mothers bickering back and forth and teachers trying to reassure them in a fashionable manor. I myself am calm, cool, and collected, so maybe my presence there would be helpful towards some of the other mothers there.
